Smells Good….Feels Good
It is a well-established fact that aromatherapy impacts the moods and feelings of individuals by acting on the oldest (“reptilian”) part of our brains. This is the part that used our noses to find mates and avoid danger – and thus has an instant and lasting impact on our moods – and reactions. While we no longer use our sense of smell in these ways (at least not consciously!), our moods are still impacted by what we smell!
